"interesting and obsessive"

Art teacher says my sketchbook assignment showed an "interesting and obsessive use of pattern". it was the circles & trippy flower combination. (even though I'm not sure whether they are, in fact, trippy flowers) I took that as a compliment, whether it was intended or not.
